Dive Bequia

Paul spent the morning studying and COMPLETING successfully the Open Water tests. Then into the water he went with his instructor for his final confined dive. Tomorrow he will be going on two open water dives to complete his certification! I'm not sure if I will be going on the same dives yet...we'll know more tomorrow.

I went for a one tank dive to the "boulders" not far from Admirality Bay where we are anchored. Right now I'm working on identifying the fish...I do know from my new books that some of what is in this picture are sponges...and some coral...once I get good with the fish...in other words it doesn't take me "forever" to get one dive identified...then I'll start with all of the other stuff...so this picture is just of pretty stuff for now!!!!
A spotted Moray eel.....
Longsnout Butterflyfish......
Smooth Trunkfish....
Spotted Drum.....
Reef Butterflyfish and a Coney inside a barrel sponge....
More really pretty stuff....
I remember this one from an earlier "gander" at the reef "creatures book...besides it somewhat made sense...Vase sponge....The smiley guy (fish) in the background is a parrotfish...

Reef Butterflyfish....
Bigeye....(yes, that is really all the book has for a "common" name for him).
Foureye Butterflyfish...........
AND....tomorrow is another day....er...dive....
