Beer

Now that I have your attention...I just have to tell you...Paul found a reason to enjoy the Pacific Northwest...the BEER!He has been taste testing different beers and has discovered a few that he REALLY likes. One is Red Hook Longhorn IPA...and my oldest daughter (bless her heart) mentioned that the brewery had tours. Guess what that led to! Yes, a trip to the Woodinville Brewery. Now remember, I don't like beer...so of course I was the designated driver...On the beer tasting part of the tour (of which there were 6 kinds) Paul was able to compare each beer TWICE! And, this for only one dollar each! What a great deal!And, someone has done the math. We were told that one of these vats holds enough beer...as the gentleman described...so that if one person fell in they could drink for 33 years before they could empty the vat. I'm not one to disagree with their statistics...but they have never met Paul...Paul's time here in the PNW is drawing to a close...he heads to Chattanooga on Sunday morning to visit with his family and friends before heading back to the boat. So for those of you who were wondering how Paul could be happy off of the boat for this long...I think I've got it...he really likes the BEER here!!
