We decided on dinner and then bowling...of course I hadn't bowled in who knows how long!!! My oldest did very well...this almost a strike...

We had a fabulous time and I just have to say how proud I am of each of them...and how much I love them...
And then, I have to admit...I bowled three games (is that what you call them?). I suppose I could have made this picture a little bigger...but you will have to trust me...I broke 100...101 to be exact! Each one of my children, well, they did a lot better than I did!
Once back to my mom's it was on to the Puyallup State Fair... it use to be "home" for our family for around two weeks out of each year as they would show their animals (horses, Jersey cows, and English Springer Spaniel dogs). There is a picture that my mom has in her kitchen of me (in my much younger days with one of my girls sitting in front of me on the Merry-go-Round. To make a long story short...my oldest daughter would have won the bet had I really made it. Of course, in my defense, there is another picture (in the mounds of them we dug through to prove correctness) that is almost identical... 
So given those memories...when my oldest, my mom and I went to the fair this year...we got a picture of my mom and my oldest on the Merry-go-Round.
I'm sure they are laughing about the ALMOST bet I made...
I knew the day would come...it just has seemed to go so fast...I only have a few more days to spend with my mom and then I too will be headed back to Guatemala (via Atlanta). So I'm feeling a little sad on this Seattle update even though I know I am so very blest with my mom's and my children's love.
