All about her....

Her...being my mom. This blog is about her visit with me.We played on the beach...we went to the Iguana farm... by dingy...we had a picture taken at the same spot as with my kids last year...
We played with the dolphins.I'm thinking this was like mother, like daughter, like dolphin. Mouths open! It was suppose to be a "canned" photo... like this one of me....but not with my mom in the picture! My mom loved the dolphin! The trainer had some fun showing us what immitations Maury can do too!
We went to Jonesville, were picked up by long time local Mr Wood (red shirt with back to camera) and taken to the Hole in the Wall restaurant for lunch with Stan (Homer's Odyssey) and his brother, Lawrence...We had Clyde take us in his boat...otherwise called a dory... through the pirate mangrove canals... that connect the different small bays.We drove to Oak Ridge...and stopped for a chat at BJ's restaurant.
With the finale yesterday a zip line canopy tour... on the Extreme/extreme...yes, double extreme... with Pirates of the Caribbean zip line tours...Ask her...and she will tell you all about it! Can you say...trying to put a square peg in a round hole? This helmet could not/would not fit square on her head...it was adjusted a few times to no avail! One of the guides showed me how to have a little more "thrill" and well...this was the best I could do on short notice! We had so much fun while she was here, and we laughed...and we laughed. For so many years she has made life all about me (shared of course with my siblings)...it is so very much fun for me to...for a short time anyway...have life be all about her!! And, at the airport saying goodbye, yes, I cried! On my taxi ride back...I had that horrible feeling...like when you have forgotten something...but, I don't think I did. I love you mom!

So, on to the exciting news that Capt Paul shared about Mizzen, our new boat kitty...Here is a picture of her (provided by Chris, the breeder)...isn't she just the darn cutest thing you've ever seen? Yes, I am so very anxious for them both to return to the boat! And, now that my mom has returned to the states...it soon will be all about HER...Mizzen that is!
