Waiting

Yes, I'm waiting for my dive buddy to return to the boat from his surgery! He believes that this surgery has made a much more dramatic improvement in both his mobility and his pain! So while I wait for him, invitations to go diving rarely get by me without an acceptance...especially when given by those with whom I have gone diving with before! So as planned, we were off early, Stan, his brother and I to the Coco View Wall. I took the big camera...and once again...partial operator error...partial flash error (I may need to have this one fixed OR get a new flash when back in the states this summer)... so I only got a few that were (to me) acceptable! But I did get the brothers together enjoying the underwater wall world...Stan showing us both something...and Lawrence showing that he felt as comfortable , upside down as he was rightside up after all these years...or was it he was just kicking his brother?
Enrique and Kathryn came by and while Enrique was busy for the afternoon, he let me borrow Kathryn for a dive to the wrecks. Visability wasn't the greatest on either dive..but it was great fun to get out and under again! It is funny that even the same dive...on a different day can change...all it takes is changing the angle at which you approach the dive... or the angle at which you return from it! I did take the small camera and had some fun taking pictures with Kathryn! The good news...I only saw one Lionfish on each dive...that is way down from the three to five or more on each dive from before. This guy thought we would be fun to circle a few times...I know, he/she was just looking for me to get a picture of his/her "good" side!? And, while we were doing our three minute safety stop this little guy kept coming closer and closer...then decided he would go an alternate way!
So, I will admit the waiting has become more difficult...Capt Paul now has our Mizzen...
and bless her heart, Beth has sent me a few pictures of our little princess from her cell phone! She IS BEAUTIFUL! I remain waiting!
