Expectations...and a memory...

Well, yes...I expected Capt Paul to blog on returning to the boat with our Maine Coon kitty, Mizzen. But, he has instead walked the island two days in a row...then we rented a car with Stan and off to Jonesville to meet up with Larry and go to the Hole in the Wall restaurant yesterday! Stan had other expectations on going to see Larry...boat repairs...and that didn't work out so well...but we did have a great day! So shall I say he's been a tad busy? One of those days when he was walking I went diving with Stan. We both took cameras! We entered the water with a great plan....and both of us got so interested in taking pictures... that once along the wall... we couldn't have gone more than 100 yards... and at one point 105 feet deep! There were a lot of Lionfish on this wall...There was so much to see...so much that was beautiful that just looking at it... the thought goes through your mind...oh, now THAT is a picture...
So, to the memory thing...it was the word 'expectations' that reminded me. I remember more than a few times being asked why my (Dave's and my) children were well behaved...were so great at this...so good at that...and one of my favorite responses was "expectations". As I get older (oh, heavens do I have to admit that?) I still have my expectations on so many different levels. So, let me share with you...Mizzen is all I expected her to be...and the diving...the underwater wall...no disappointments there either!
